I work as a research assistant for the uni. That’s my standard answer when people ask what I do for work.
What does that involve?
Definitely no manual labour.
Basically, I do whatever my project supervisor tells me to do.
That involves,

In the midst of feeling like a complete failure, I am once again reminded that the things I strive so hard to achieve, to perfect, to excel are completely rubbish in helping me be a success in this world.

Maybe I’m stressed.
A million little tasks and one huge review for work (15,000 abstracts looks more than it sounds).
Or maybe it’s just that stupid drilling happening outside my office everyday for 8 non-stop hours that is making me have that headache.
